a lil' update here, while trying to struggle to keep my eyes awake cos i dun feel like sleeping. past week had been horrible, with common tests tormenting everybody leaving basically nothing in its wake. GP was okie, its either i do quite well or i flop badly. haha i was just trying out a new way of writing my compo. and compo is bascially what prevents me from failing gp. maths was more encourgaing than usual, i hope i do better than what i did last test. chem was horrible. and to think i studied more for it than physics. physics was okie, but i never had much hope in physics. paper was easier than before, which makes it even more pressurizing to get a grade better than last time. oh wells. we'll see this coming week.
this super long weekend for us after the test have been quite fulfilling. went to a supposedly class outing on sunday which made me realise that our class has shrunk to a company of 7. been quite some time since i last skated, so the first feel of the ice in a couple of years had been rather scary. but things warmed up eventually. first to report injured was jx, with an amazing time of about less than 30mins. next up was boss, who seem to have blistered his ankle while trying to learn stunts with me. kinda got the hang of the cross turn, which u have to lean to one side and cross your leg to turn, like in the physics notes circular motion. felll off once trying to attempt that cos apparently my speed wasn't fast enough.
today is quite a fun day though. its to the same place but with different group of people, this time with PA. ice skating again. entered the rink but it was flooded with people la. but oh wellls, ended up pon-ing my music lesson to join them. poor boss had to sit outside cos he didn't want to pay the entrance fee to come in to sit. choon heng was quite comical trying to get him to balance on two blades. but everyone seem to get the hang of everything. ended up trying to have a 'last-survivor competition' with jestyn, dhika and mingxuan as they tried to follow my every move and action cutting in and out and in of people and not to trip and fall. by then the rink had been super watery because of the amount of people skating in it. it was quite challenging considering there was more people than empty spaces. jestyn was supposedly the last survivor with me. but he fell just when he was trying to brake haha so too bad. i think i have more confidence to try and turn and balance myself with one leg and to lean to one side, but couldn't try it high speed. there was one incident where i had one empty corner to speed, so i tried to attempt that high speed turn which resulted in me sliding sideways for like 8m, yes together with the wave and ripple effects. but the feeling was kinda enjoyable hehe.
hmm now's 1250am. dun feel like sleeping yet. night just seems so young. oh wells. thats it for now.
